In the interest of taxpayers, the Ministry of Finance has decided to extend the due date for filing of return in Form GSTR-3B for the month of April 2018.
This is among many forms that traders, exporters or industry have to file under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. The GST Council on multiple occasions has given timely relief to these bodies in order to make GST transition very flexible and efficient. It needs to be noted many traders and exporters have been complaining about the pressure their business faced after GST regime was put into active mode.
The new deadline for filing GSTR-3B has just been extended by 2 more days till May 22 compared to previously scheduled time.
A few taxpayers may be facing issue with completing GSTR-3B save as the processing of GSTR-3B is slow on GST portal. Please wait while GSTR-3B save request is processed or try again later if status turns to fail.
