How to Generate Bulk E-way Bill on ewaybill.nic.in / ewaybillgst.gov.in

A bulk e-way bill is used when a supplier needs to generate multiple e-Way Bills / consolidated e-way bills at one single upload. Generate Bulk e-way Bill using using the facility of Bulk generation of e-way bills on the e-way bill portal.

While Generating a bulk e-Way Bill the supplier needs to have the EWB converter or the excel file, which helps the supplier to convert the multiple e-Way Bills excel file into a single JSON file.

Prerequisites for Bulk e-Way Bill Generation

Register to the E-way Bill Portal. (www.ewaybill.nic.in)
The Invoice / Bill / Challan of the consignment of goods must be in hand.
If transport is by road – Transporter ID or the Vehicle number.
If transport is by rail, air, or ship – Transporter ID, Transport document number, and date on the document.

Generate Bulk E-way Bill :

# STEP 1 : Login using username, password and enter the captcha code.

# STEP 2: To generate a Bulk e-Way Bill, a user needs to select the sub option ‘Generate Bulk’ under the option ‘e-Waybill’.

# STEP 3 : The user has to choose the saved JSON file from your system and click “Upload and Generate”

After processing the JSON file, the system generates the E-Way Bills and shows the EWB for each request. If it is not possible it will show the error for each request. Make corrections accordingly and process it again.
